This special US holiday honors those who made the ultimate sacrifice
Originally known as Decoration Day, Memorial Day is observed on the final Monday of May to honor the brave men and women of the US armed forces who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Officially made a national holiday in 1977, Americans have been observing this day in many forms since the civil war. Memorial Day has a special significance to the SEAL Aviation team. SEAL Aviation is veteran owned and operated and much of our staff or their family have served in the armed forces. We feel it is important to remember our fallen brothers and sisters who gave their lives for our freedom and prosperity as a nation.
