SEAL Aviation can perform Falcon Service Bulletin 329-R4 Wing Tank Modification, anywhere in the world.

Dassault Falcon has updated Service Bulletin 329 to revision 4 Wing Tank Modification for Falcon 900EX, 900EX EASy and 900DX models. A Dassault Falcon analysis of rare high-speed runway excursions has revealed that, in case of a main landing gear leg failure due to overloads, the subsequent wing damage may cause a potential fuel spill. The purpose of this Service Bulletin is to prevent such a fuel spill by installing a sealed boundary between ribs No. 4 and 5 in front of the rear wing spar.

Complying with SB329-R4 requires removing the structural lower wing panel, installing drainage capability, installing the boundary between ribs No. 4 and 5, and finally sealing the boundary and performing a test for leakage. 

As per the Service Bulletin, this repair constitutes complex structural rework activity that should only be accomplished at service centers that have relevant experience working on Falcon aircraft and have a high level of competency in the following areas:

  • Work on primary structure
  • Metal work
  • Precision Adjustment
  • Non-destructive testing for cracks
